Re-Engineering the Global Property Environment

The COVID-19 pandemic had a huge impact on the real estate sector globally, ie the owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and supply chain vendors, who have experienced varying degrees of impact of the pandemic. The nature of the impact and extent of the ramifications are in large part dependent upon the location of the projects. Direct impacts have ranged from a slowdown of available goods and labour through to suspensions and, in some instances, terminations of parties or entire projects.

As a result, the COVID-19 crisis has led to the need for industry leaders to address both short-term and long-term business challenges, as well as formulating project-by-project solutions in the face of a new global and national environment
