The Nigerian portfolio, with a total GLA of 29 726m2, includes three retail centres and the French portfolio, with a GLA of 147 383m2, consists of four retail centres.
Cllr Cilliers Brink was elected as the Executive Mayor of Tshwane on 28 March 2023. He was born in Springs on 12 June 1987. Cllr Brink grew up in Phalaborwa, Limpopo and remained in Limpopo until the completion of his IEB at Kingfisher High School in 2005.
In 2006, he enrolled for his LLB at the University of Pretoria (UP). It was at UP where Brink became involved in politics, becoming a member of the Democratic Alliance Student Organisation (DASO) in 2009.
He later became a chairperson of the Democratic Alliance Youth (DAY) in Tshwane in 2010 and a councillor in the City of Tshwane in 2011 at the age of 24. In 2012, he obtained his LLB Degree from UP and in 2013 he went on to obtain his Practical Legal Training Certificate from the LSSA Practical Law School.
In 2016, Brink became the MMC for Corporate and Shared Services in the City of Tshwane. He held this position until May 2019, when he got sworn in as a Member of Parliament (MP). As an MP, he served on the Portfolio of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs.
In September 2022, Brink became National Spokesperson for the Democratic Alliance, a position he held until he was elected as the Executive Mayor of Tshwane.
Mr. Gilly Dlamini is a well-experienced economist and banker with extensive knowledge of agricultural finance. During his professional formative years, he trained as a credit management professional (SBSA) and has acquired further extensive credit management knowledge and experience.
He has just over 25 years of practical managerial experience in agricultural finance. Over and above that, he has assisted organizations with Strategy Management (development, implementation, monitoring & reporting) and Strategy Review.
At present Mr Dlamini is employed by Banking Association of South Africa (BASA) as a GM: Public Policy where he is responsible and overseeing three distinct portfolios namely: Property (Human Settlements), Agriculture, Energy, and Sustainable Finance (ESG). BASA promotes advocacy for the banking sector on strategic matters that may be counter-productive in their business. This is done through stakeholder management, advocacy, and consultation.
He holds a Certificate in Senior Management Development from the University of Pretoria, Banking and Credit Management Training (1995 – 1997). Masters of Agricultural Economics and B.Sc. Agriculture.

Keillen Ndlovu has excelled in various markets, including local and developed economies, and has received several top-performance awards. Having commenced his property career at Standard Bank Properties in 2004, he moved to STANLIB, where he eventually assumed leadership responsibilities and managed property funds catering to retail and institutional clients. A key figure in the ascent of one the largest and most successful local and global property unit trusts in South Africa, he played an instrumental role in driving total assets under management to almost R30 billion during the height of the property market. He concluded his tenure at STANLIB at the end of 2021 and now operates independently, leveraging his knowledge and experience to make a substantial impact as an analyst, thought leader and consultant. He shares his insights on various property topics at seminars, conferences and in the media.
Laila joined Equites in 2015 and has played an integral role in growing the scale and sophistication of the overall finance function. She was appointed as Group CFO in May 2020. Prior to joining Equites, she worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc.’s Advisory division with a focus on mergers & acquisitions. She has a keen interest for environmental, social, and sustainable initiatives and serves as a director of The Michel Lanfranchi Foundation (NPC).
Mikhaela Donaldson is a project, precinct and business manager as well as a place maker and urban researcher, tasked with the development and implementation of public space management and strategic urban intervention projects related to city building, community activation, public private partnership and urban revitalisation. As a partner at Localabode she works with her team to build robust relationships with key stakeholders, businesses and local authorities to deliver on contextualised, sustainable and impactful solutions for the areas and clients they represent.
She received her Masters in Urban Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016 through a study on urban regeneration. Her academic and professional pursuits have been framed by gaining a greater appreciation for the urban landscape and how these spaces can be and should be adapted and transformed to better suit the greatest number of users and ideally becoming more sustainable, inclusive, supportive and innovative spaces.
As the chairperson of the Gauteng Precinct Management Association (GPMA) she works on providing direction and strategic support toward in the development and professionalisation of the growing precinct management industry
With extensive expertise in investment facilitation across Agribusiness, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Tourism, I specialize in managing both greenfield and brownfield projects and overseeing foreign and domestic direct investments. At Wesgro, the Western Cape Province’s leading government promotional agency, I am committed to positioning the region as a premier investment destination and driving growth in a dynamic landscape.
In my current role, I manage the Investment Portfolio for Real Estate, Tourism, and Infrastructure, including Special Projects such as Edu Invest (Education Infrastructure). My responsibilities include strategic stakeholder and project management, addressing complex challenges in competitive sectors, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and engaging with key private and public stakeholders. Additionally, I streamline regulatory processes to enhance investment efficiency.
I am actively involved in influential industry bodies such as the Western Cape Property Development Forum (WCPDF) and contribute to bid specifications, evaluation, and adjudication committees for transformative infrastructure projects. My work provides valuable insights into investment trends and opportunities within the real estate sector, supporting sustainable growth and strategic development in the Western Cape.
Redefine’s CFO, Ntobeko Nyawo, who is a qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of business experience spanning across the financial services industry and was previously Stanlib’s COO. In his capacity as the Redefine’s CFO, Ntobeko is responsible for sourcing capital and overseeing the finance and technology functions across the company. A seasoned executive who is leading the transformation of the group’s funding platform and is part of the executive committee that supports the CEO in driving the execution of the strategy.
Palesa has over 20 years’ experience in the information and communication technology (ICT) and Telecommunications sector working for leading multinational companies within the ICT sector. She has 10 years’ experience in executive positions within the sector with added experience in board-level positions within the manufacturing and incubation sectors. Her specialties range from strong operational experience to strategic growth and market penetration into various customer environments.
She has worked for organisations such as Hewlett Packard, IBM and EMC Computers. Her most recent role was at MTN SA where she was the Regional Head for MTN Business in KZN. Palesa holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Johannesburg (UJ), an advanced Business Management Programme Certificate and is a member of the esteemed South African Institute of Directors (IOD) and sits on various boards including SmartXchange and Invotech incubators.
Scott is currently the National Asset Manager – Office , at Redefine Properties. Scott has been an active and well-respected member of the property management sector for almost three decades, noticeably as a Director and General Manager at various property and SA REIT companies. He has been at Redefine since 2016.
Scott has been involved in precinct management since 2003 when joining the Sandton BID board. He is still an active member of the board and is a founding member and current director of the Gauteng Precinct Management Association. Scott is currently the initiator and chairman on the newly formed SAPOA Precinct Management Committee.
Richard joined CBRE in 2014 as Global Chief Economist and in 2018 he was appointed Global Head of Research. He is based in Dallas and leads a team of 600 researchers worldwide. Regularly in the media, Richard presents widely to business audiences. He holds a PhD in Economics and is the author of two books and numerous academic publications. On a part-time basis he is Senior Fellow and Lecturer in Real Estate at Harvard University and Professor of the Practice at University of North Carolina.
He is a Chartered Surveyor, Counsellor of Real Estate and Honorary Professor of the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at The University of London.
Ms. Tsakani Maluleke is the Auditor-General of South Africa, the first woman to be appointed to this role in over 100 years. Prior to this, she served as the Deputy Auditor-General. She has more than 20 years of experience spanning diverse areas including Auditing, Consulting, Corporate Advisory, Development Finance, Investment Management and Skills Development.
A seasoned business leader with a wealth of corporate governance experience gained through participation on numerous corporate boards and strategic committees in both the private and public sectors.
Her commitment to service excellence, ethical leadership and contribution to the advancement of transformation have been recognised by the Presidents of the Black Management Forum (BMF), the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA), the Black Business Council (BBC) and the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa (ABASA), of which she is a Past President.
Werner Schulte is a Development Economist at Urban-Econ in the Property Development Services Unit. He holds a degree in Town and Regional Planning at the University of Pretoria, and has experience in municipal infrastructure, including water and electricity, land use management, and property research.
Werner started his career in statutory planning, focusing on land use management applications such as rezonings and township establishments. His research spans South Africa and other African countries, including Namibia. Currently in the process of registering as a Professional Planner with SACPLAN, Werner’s work experience has equipped him with a set of skills in town planning and property development.
